Privacy Notice CCR
Introduction
This notice applies across all websites that we own and operate and all services we provide, including our online and mobile services products, and any other apps or services we may offer (for example, events or training). For the purpose of this notice, we’ll just call them our ‘services’.
When we say ‘personal data’ we mean identifiable information about you, like your name, email, address, telephone number, bank account details, payment information, support queries, community comments and so on.
We may need to update this notice from time to time. Where a change is significant, we’ll make sure we let you know – usually by sending you an email.
Who are ‘we’
When we refer to ‘we’ (or ‘our’ or ‘us’), that means Universal Green Group and all its wholly owned subsidiaries. Our headquarters are in London.
We provide an easy-to-use global online platform for long-term partnerships with companies that have or are developing their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) frameworks. By joining forces, we will leverage our expertise to help corporations meet their goals, create sustainable value, and exemplify environmental responsibility. We will do this by allowing corporations and individuals to forward buy, trade and retire our carbon credit products.
At the core of our platform is a trading and data storage platform with A blockchain system based on the ownership of carbon credits in the form of tokens (the equivalent of digital certificate or currency) belonging to consumers, which are traced via the blockchain throughout their entire lifecycle from real time generation through to final credit retirement. The nature of blockchain technology allows all activities taking place on the register to be publicly visible, while still maintaining confidentiality of parties where required.
